Art is often made with material unfriendly to nature, so the offset was working with frequently disposed of material like takeaway bags, bills, posters and old books thus making a more sustainable approach to the artmaking process. For a while I built these rootstructures sewing layers together with needle and thread, but with increasing complexity it became too annoying, so I switched to a sparing use of glue.

What keeps the approach interesting in every collage is to whatch whether the opt-out of working with archival papers will result in an organic change in e.g coloring and fading.
